Course of eight weekly two hour sessions.

The emphasis will be on an embodied mindfulness which keeps your focus in the here and now.
Horses are very helpful in supporting this work because they are always responding in the here and now and because – unlike most humans – they have a non-judgemental response to emotions. For horses, emotions such as fear or vulnerability or anger are useful information to guide action rather than things to be avoided or judged. Horses are also very good at giving us feedback about our own state of presence in the here and now.
There will be no compulsion to touch or even be near to a horse during the course.
